"Our modern life puts tremendous pressures on the home and the family. We see rubbish everywhere. Rubbish on television and in films and in magazines, making fun of the home, making fun of marriage, making light of one of the holiest of all institutions, the marriage and God has indicated from one end of the Word to the other that when the home fails, the society is going to fail.
All over the world people are moving to cities. As a boy on the farm, I could watch my father work and was made part of that work. Today a man goes to work in a factory, or an office and his wife goes off to work too and often the children never see either one of them doing their jobs and they never become a part of it. In small rural communities of yesterday, everyone knew everyone, teachers and parents were friends.
We've never had more books on the bookshelves telling us how to solve our family problems or sexual problems than we have today, and yet somehow, we are more miserable. We are more broken. We're more torn. We're more hurt than we've ever been. Why? Because we have not taken the word of God into account because God has laid down the rules and the regulations for successful and happy home and we broke, them. We thought we could do it some other way and we've found that we failed."

People don't take vows seriously enough.They make an emotional decision, "I don't love you anymore". Well, love is not a feeling!
Especially if there are children involved. A lot of times people don't think about the consequences. They just make a decision putting themselves first.
The sacred circle around every family should be preserved with firmness.
Society is composed of families, and is what the heads of families make it. The heart of the community, of the church, and of the nation is the household. The well-being of society, the success of the church, the prosperity of the nation, depends upon home influences.
There is an attack on families in, this century, and we must actively fight against strife, lack of commitment, wrong priorities, and bad attitudes to protect our families.
